Marketing Lead
About Next Sense
Next Sense is a SaaS company that builds software that helps large companies understand and improve how their office buildings perform. Our platform connects to building systems, meters and sensors to give facility, workplace and sustainability teams one clear view of energy use, comfort and occupancy. Our Building Performance Experts hand-in-hand with AI then turn that data into improvement suggestions and energy conservation measures for improved comfort and savings.
We're a Series A SaaS company of around 30 people, working with large corporate occupiers across the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK and Germany.
The role
We have a strong product and great customers. However, not enough businesses know about us - yet. Your job is to change that.
You’ll be the person who makes our marketing happen. Working closely with the Commercial team, you’ll turn our marketing plan in to campaigns and content. You'll support the events we choose to attend, build the campaigns around them and create the content that shows the market what our service and our Building Intelligence Center (BIC) can do. This is a role for an all-rounder who loves getting things done. You'll be supporting not only the marketing of our product, for both the public and our clients, but also supporting our sales team.
The focus is execution, but the role is not a box. As you show what works, you'll take on more ownership of the plan, the budget and the channels, and help shape where marketing goes next.
The brand exists. The product exists. Now, we need someone to share it with the world.
What you'll do
Drive the plan
Turn our marketing plan into campaigns, content and activity that reach the right people, and help improve it as you learn what works
Tailor our story for each audience, from the operators who run buildings to the owners who invest in them and the occupiers who work in them
Track results, manage the day-to-day budget and freelancers, and report to leadership
Grow our digital presence
Own our LinkedIn page and grow our following among real estate, workplace and sustainability professionals
Run campaigns across LinkedIn, email and our website, and keep the website fresh
Run our marketing automation in HubSpot so leads keep moving without manual work
Create content
Create content that gets us noticed, from customer stories and short videos to articles
Work with clients, sales and our experts to find the stories worth telling, including what’s happening in the market, like new energy regulation
Run BIC feature launches with product and sales, from release notes to the LinkedIn
Support our events
Support our presence at the trade shows, conferences and customer events we choose to attend, including the logistics (venue, suppliers, materials)
About you
2 to 4 years in B2B marketing, ideally at a SaaS or tech company.
You're a doer. You love execution, get things live fast and prioritize well. You pick the few things that will make a difference and can explain why.
Experience creating and running your own campaigns
Hands-on with LinkedIn, email marketing and content creation, both yourself and with the use of AI
Comfortable organising events, from small client sessions to trade shows
Strong written English (Dutch and/or German are a plus)
Self-starter who enjoys ownership
A feel for product marketing is a plus: you can turn a technical feature into a story clients care about
Experience with HubSpot, Canva, Figma and/or Webflow is a plus
Interest in sustainability, buildings or the future of work is a plus
What we offer
A competitive salary and benefits package
Real room to grow. Prove what works and you’ll get more ownership of the plan, the budget and the channels, with a path to a senior marketing role as we scale
Direct access to leadership and work that the whole company sees
An AI-first way of working. You’ll get a paid Claude plan and the freedom to build your own workflows, so you spend less time on repetitive work and more on what moves the needle
