Junior Data Engineer
We’re looking for a Junior Data Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality, trustworthy data. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the data that powers our business decisions. You’ll work alongside a talented and supportive team of engineers, analysts, and product managers to build scalable data solutions using Azure's data services.
This role is ideal for someone who has a solid foundation in data engineering and wants to grow their skills further—especially in data quality, validation, and observability. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of data pipelines, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data ecosystem.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and cleansing processes.
Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable data solutions using Azure's data services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that support business objectives.
Monitor and troubleshoot data-related issues to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data architecture.
Must-haves:
At least 2 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
Strong experience with Python, including data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
Working knowledge with Azure Data Explorer or kusto query language is a plus.
Proven ability to ensure data quality and integrity through robust validation and cleansing processes, using frameworks such as Great Expectations.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A one-year contract, with the intention to extend (as this is a permanent position).
Holiday pay (8% off the gross salary).

Remote work: opportunity to work abroad up to 10 days per calendar year.
