Data Processing & Optimization Intern
We are looking for an intern to join the Implementation team for 6 to 12 months, available for 16 hours a week minimum.
You will be part of the Implementation team as the person responsible for connecting all buildings to our platform, so that the sensor and metering data flows into our databases.
In your role, you will support the implementation managers in delivering projects to key customers internationally. You will be responsible for gathering relevant BMS data, managing source data files and floor plans in different formats, processing multiple data files, and onboarding the information onto our platform.
You will be actively involved in improving data ingestion processes and starting automation initiatives. For 20-30% of your time you will work on how to leverage Python and Pandas to pre-process CSV data files and ready them for ingestion, where you can take larger ownership depending on your experience.
You will communicate with implementation managers and experts in building systems on priorities and agree on deliverables and timelines for your tasks.

organized, well-structured and process oriented;
ready to roll up sleeves and come up with solutions;
able to learn tools and processes quickly;
experienced with Microsoft Excel, Python (at least 6 months) and Pandas, experience with Revit is nice to have;
capable of delivering on agreed timelines and communicating on progress;
fully proficient in written and spoken English (C1);
currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field at a Dutch university;
currently living in the Netherlands;

The first step will be a short introductory call (maximum 30 minutes) to assess whether you meet the must-have requirements for the role.
If you pass this initial screening, we will invite you to our office for an in-person interview. During this session, you will also complete a practical test to evaluate your Python skills.
