Business Development Representative

At Next Sense we're looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team.
Full-time · Amsterdam

As a Business Development Representative at Next Sense, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, playing a critical role in growing our sales pipeline. Sitting at the intersection of marketing and sales, you’ll work closely with both teams to identify, connect, qualify new prospects. Your efforts will be instrumental in introducing our cutting-edge solutions to the built environment and drive energy efficiency and decarbonization.  

  • Generate and qualify leads through cold outreach, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other channels. 

  • Nurture relationships with prospects to keep Next Sense top of mind and aligned with marketing messaging. 

  • Maintain and update our CRM (HubSpot) with accurate and detailed prospect information.  

  • Conduct research to identify new leads and market opportunities. 

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute targeted campaigns and drive lead generation efforts, as well as create and refine outreach templates and promotional materials. 

  • Provide data-driven feedback to marketing and sales teams on the effectiveness of outreach strategies and campaign results. 

We're looking for you, if you bring...

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in SaaS or B2B tech. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Goal-oriented with a proactive attitude. 

  • Interest in technology, sustainability, and energy efficiency. 

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms is a plus. 

  • Experience or interest in marketing strategies, content creation, or campaign execution is a strong advantage. 

  • Fluency in English & Dutch preferred. 

 

What do we offer you, on top of a suitable and competitive salary?

  • A one-year contract, with the intention to extend (as this is a permanent position).

  • Holiday pay (8% off the gross salary).

  • 27 vacation days per calendar year.

  • Remote work: opportunity to work abroad up to 10 days per calendar year.

Please note that this offer is based on full-time (40 hours) employment.
